Colors of Life

From the moment we enter the world we are immediately surrounded by colors. Colors that were thoughtfully chosen from millions of different tones and shades to influence and alter our body and emotional behavior. White for hospitals, brown for libraries, red for restaurants, pink for girls, blue for boys.

Colours have meanings. They affect our sensations and emotions: red feels passionate; blue is calming; green brings balance; yellow is optimistic; violet is imaginative; brown gives a sense of warmth; pink is soft and nurturing; and white reflects purity and clarity.

A child who grew up in a sunflower yellow room will likely be more lively and energetic. A prisoner locked in a dark, gray cell will be depressed and, well, unhappy. Choosing colors for your home interior, the space where you spend most of your time, is crucial. They determine not only your mood and thoughts but also your body — its temperature, heart rate and sleep habits.

But what colors give us life? Spring gave us answers. With spring entering our lives we lean to lightness, optimism, renewal and ease — things that project vitality.

Sky blue
We can’t imagine spring without a sunlit blue sky. Blue is a color of serenity, relaxation and calmness. In combination with organic, raw textures like wood it creates the feeling of closeness to nature

Soft green
Soft green is probably the first color that pops up in mind when we think about nature. It has a soothing effect, bringing the childhood memories of forests, rooms filled with plants, or cozy countryside landscapes.

Butter Yellow
All about yellow screams of warmth, lightness, and optimism. Unlike bold yellow, its butter tone is airy and brightens a space without being overwhelming. We see this color perfectly blending with whites, warm neutrals, soft greens, and muted blues.

Light Pink
Usually pink is overly romanticized and associated with naivety. Well, it could have many alterations. Among other things it channels care, kindness, and affection, making the space emotionally deeper. Thanks to its delicacy, pink has the ability to reduce stress and boost relaxation.
